My Theme Song this Winter/Spring 2008

Behold my theme song for Winter/Spring of 2008.

I love it! Who else but YPJ & FVC! This song simply remixes the church anthem "Woke Up this Morning With My Mind..." with the chant "Yot dot dah dah dah..." It's bananas. LOL!

Why I Commend Anayasha

Did you hear her at the beginning? Did you hear what she said?

This is what we as musicians, worship leaders, choir members, choir directors, musical directors, gospel "artists", and ministers of music should strive to do. MINISTER.

You can tell that she was led by the Holy Spirit. She wasn't just singing. And the funny thing is that I could tell that she wasn't of full voice. I could tell that she was hoarse but she went past her condition to make it easy for the man of God to come up and deliver the Word.

And at this point I could care less of what you think about Pastor Williams, you know he was blessed by this.

What is our job as those operating in the music ministry?

Our job in the corporate worship church setting is to prepare the way for the Word of the Lord. Basically to make it easy for the man or woman of God to deliver the Word that got has put on his or her heart. No one wants to start from ground zero (meaning heaviness) and try to break up the ground and pick up our slack.

Sorry to go on a tangent, but this video blessed me.

So, in short, I say "God bless you" to Anayasha.
